Ruger 1911 Prototype
I made a prototype of the Ruger 1911 in photoshop. Since we all know how much Ruger loves to put huge blocks of lawyer-ese on the barrels and slides of all of their guns, i tried to do the company proud.
Full text, since it's really too small to read:

Too bad this is not just a funny joke. I've seen the entire owners manual written on their guns. A real turn off if you ask me.
I hate when they feel that they have to child proof the world.
We have become a society that bases things on the most ignorant and mentally challanged individuals.
Do not put cat in microwave.
Do not iron clothing while wearing them.
Pregnant women should not consume mass quantities of alcohol.
And the one we notice the least...
Smoking may be harmful to your health.
DUH!!!

Good eye. I just wanted something stainless with a lot of fancy crap hanging off it, but it occurred to me that a Taurus fit the bill exactly.

Yeah. Mostly people are idiots. I guess I can't hold it against the company for protecting themselves, but it's a teensy bit silly, the lengths Ruger goes to.

The sad part is, when I opened the thread, I immediately thought "This is a real prototype" when I saw all the writing on the frame.
