Right now I carry Gold Dot Short Barrel 124+P and am looking to pick up more ammo for my G26. It is hard to find the short barrel GDots and HSTs, so wanted to ask you all what are other good defense rounds for a G26. Been looking at the Cor-Bon DPX 115+P so far. Any recommendations on reliable expanding rounds? Thanks.

Just personal preference, but I like the 147gr bullets for my short barreled Kahr. Ranger T's and HST's are what I favor at the moment.

And just FYI, I emailed Speer a year or so back and asked how the Short Barrel +P Gold Dots and the regular +P Gold Dots compare out of short barrels. The rep who wrote back said the regular +P's would work just fine with a short barreled handgun.

So if you're looking to stay with the lighter, higher velocity loads, don't waste money with the Short Barrel Gold Dots, just look for the 50 round boxes of the regular +P Gold Dots.

I have Gold Dot SB 124 +p loaded up in mine. Does anyone have pics or data of all the different ammo options after having fired from a 3.5in barrel? Lord knows we have enough from the 4in.

The "short barrel" designation is pure marketing for civvies. Standard ammo will work just fine in your subcompact.
