Pic Request: 5" w/bobbed frame?
i am contemplating bobbing my frame on a future mil-spec build. my TRP will be here this week so i want to build my milspec for a carry gun. does anyone here have a pic of a 5" gov model with a bobbed frame? all ive seen is commander sized guns.
thanks ahead of time

The commander length is much more popular, but bobbed 5" 1911s look great too.
Hopefully, Cobra will be along soon to post pics of his awesome bobtailed DW Valor.

Harrison does some great stuff.
On a side note, why do people use Nighthawk grips on non-Nighthawk 1911s?
I agree the logo looks good, but it just doesn't seem right.
I saw Nighthawk grips on a plain jane Springfield Loaded at a gun shop last year.

Yeah, that too.
However, at least Thunder Ranch is a term used by a couple different companies, such as Baer and S&W.

Nighthawk grips belong on Nighthawks only.
