Please suggest me where to get some G23 mags

Hi all,

Brand new G23 owner...

Came with (I guess obviously?) the 2 13-round factory mags.

I'd like to purchase some additional magazines. I believe NJ's law is 15-round limit so I am surmising I can't purchase the 17 round mags but I would like to purchase some 15 rounds and some 13 round mags...

Can someone supply me with a good site/source to consider? Thanks!

Just a rook so appreciate the help

Last Glock Mags I bought were from MidwayUSA.com. Prices seem to be decent and they delivered fast.

FYI Glockaholic I ordered two 13-round mags at that great price and no shipping charge, PLUS a choice between UPS Ground or USPS Priority ... Only wish that they had had some of the 15-round G22 cross-compatible mags too!

Thanks brotha much obliged.

Glad to hear it ScrappyDoo. I have purchased many items from OMB over the years and I have never been disappointed. Welcome to Glock Talk and I know you will enjoy your G23. Curious to see how long it takes you to get your next Glock!

Glockaholic,

You have no idea, I have had this since Saturday, (got the permit Friday, went out to buy it Friday night, got the dreaded NICS "Delay", called back Saturday afternoon, they were like, 'You're good, they called ten mins after you left and said you were good') ...So I got this, my first, Saturday and it's now Wednesday and I am already dreaming of more.

The problem is I reside in NJ. When I decided to finally apply for my firearms ID card and permit to purchase a handgun, in NJ you can apply for (and have to specify ) how many handgun permits to purchase you want (up to three at a time, expiring in 90 days, and only one handgun can be purchased every 30 days.)

The detective who handled my first-time, initial application situation ( who I am friendly with on an outside basis, I mean not best buds but if I saw him out I'd buy him a beer etc. and he'd do the same, he's got a few years on me but he's the man... definitely a cool dude and a credit to the badge) assumed I only wanted to apply for long-gun purchase. When he said "So I'll just mark not applicable for handgun purchase..." I was like, "Well, I kinda am interested" ... He kinda intimidated the hell outta me.. "What do you mean, I thought you only wanted a long gun! So what do you want me to put, you want ONE HANDGUN, RIGHT?" and I admit I got a little nervous and was like "Uh yeah just one is just fine!"

Well two months later, I finally got the OK'd permit, bought my new pride-and-Glock, and can't wait to get another. So many to choose from , decisions decisions! Size, caliber, etc! I am seriously considering going in next week or so and doing it all over again .. It just sucks cause in NJ, that involves another round of fingerprinting, another full application, another two "sources" who vouch for you and will be contacted, another $67.50 or whatever fee... but this time I'd definitely mark down 3 handgun permits, and I'm not really in a hurry, maybe by the time they come around it'll be around April and I'll look into the 4th generation..

In the meantime I will have to concentrate on taking care of my new baby, maybe accessorizing and of course I have my sights set on a few long guns ... Again, THANKS for the help, as I said, I have some mags coming from your recommendation presently!

You definitely have a friend in me bro

ScrappyDoo, I'm very happy to be of assistance...and it's great to make new friends. I'm very sorry to hear about the problems you're experiencing by living in NJ. I had similar problems when I lived in CA!

Please feel free to PM me when you have any other questions. Needless to say, you have found the best resource on the Internet, here in Glock Talk, when trying to learn about Glock pistols!!

When I was in your same position back in 1998 I was completely in the dark. Lucky for me I received outstanding advice from a salesman at a local gun shop/range when I went there to purchase a Beretta 9mm. He let me shot a G17 and I purchased one on the spot! Unfortunately, I had to wait 10-days before I could take delivery. Shortly after this purchase I discovered Glock Talk and I purchased two more from him and another on Gun Broker.

Welcome to the Glock Side and I'll see you around GT. I look forward to seeing pictures of your new additions.

Glockaholic my brotha,

Just wanted to say thanks again...

I got 2- 13rd brand new Glock magazines from your suggested site, for a great price, and free shipping! I even had the choice between USPS Priority Mail and UPS Ground and they came yesterday, it was marked as $5.50 worth of shipping I got for free...I should have ordered more!

Just checking tho... I went back to look for 15 round magazines (I guess would be labeled as G22? ) Because NJ won't let me get anything bigger than 15... they don't seem to have any 15 round mags, right? Am I looking at the data correctly?

And again thanks just wanted to say much obliged. If you have any other suggestions of stuff I should buy cause its a great deal lemme know asap! Thanks again.
