Does this even exist?
There was a configuration at one point called a "master key" or something like that. A short-barreled 12ga attached to the forend of an AR (like an M203)...
I can't afford a M203 (yet), but I do have an SBR mossberg, is there such a mount to accomplish this?

Not sure about one for a Mossberg, but Knights makes the 870 Masterkey.

There are several mounts. I would suggest trying to order one from SAGE, as they make one that screws into the top of the shotgun, and that will probably be the most likely to work for a Mossberg.
However, if you think about it, for the amount of money you're investing, it'd probably be about as much as trying to outright buy a new LMT 203.

For 1/2 that price, you can get one of these beauties, mostly functional, some dropped once, some with acid damage... but serves your purposes and the report from the rounds sound pretty cool....

Well, I already have the shotgun, so I'm just looking to buy the mount... besides shotgun rounds are a bit cheaper than grenades... at least where I live.
Do you have a link for SAGE?

Unfortunately that mount won't work on my gun because the barrel is only 10in... but thanks!

Put a dowel inside the barrel and clamp that thing on. Must I think of everything?

I'm being serious here, but you may want to take a look at the various airsoft appliances if you're going for that look... they are very realistic, don't cost as much, and let's face it... how useful is that?
Nobody serious carrys a shotgun in that config...

First of all, thank you...
Second of all, I'm not going to stick an airsoft thing on a rifle I have spent $2,000 on, but it is an interesting idea.
Third of all, you're completely right, not much point in sticking a shotgun with a 4 inch barrel on the bottom of a rifle... other than the tingle it gives me...
To be completely honest, there is no point what-so-ever in most of my shooting hobby, I enjoy it and I'm a kid at heart so I like playing with guns.
Most of the guns I own aren't useful in the slightest bit, I can only carry one pistol at a time and I own many... My short barreled AR is wonderful to shoot but has little practical purpose, and my other guns are really only used to shoot holes in paper, something I could do with a sharp stick.
But, this stuff is fun, and I'm old enough now where my mommy can't tell me crap, so I want to...

I hope I didn't offend... if you're a "kid" and you're "playing" and it gets you "tickled" or whatever, then why should you care what anyone else thinks?
I saw a BG-15 mounted below a Bulgarian '74 that was all steel and totally badass! The owner readily fessed up and said it was Airsoft. I still think it was cool.

Oh, I don't really care, I was just being a smart-ass... no offense taken...
and I haven't been a "kid" in a long time...
But you are absolutely correct, there is no real purpose to that configuration at all. If 30 rounds of .223 doesn't solve a problem, 2 poorly aimed slugs ain't gonna do diddly...
