Arsenal AK Accuracy......

I wonder if any of you guys with Arsenal AK's can share some stories on their accuracy, and the overall feel of the rifle compared to other variants?

thanks.

Its a Russian Saiga restored to an ak103 configuration by arsenal.

Of all the rifles imported currently, the legion/saiga are the most accurate
that I am aware of. If Veprs were still imported, then the legion/saiga would
be second place.

Unless you want to shell out the extra $ for a Vepr which are getting harder to find..

The Kalashnikov Klub

the legion sgl are going to be tops in your case.

Best 499.00 I've ever spent on a new gun. Shoots better than I can.

I shot a 1/4 inch target off of the metal rail at 100yds twice. I was adjusting the scope for range. It was a tad high. But it was right down the middle.

Arsenal Bulgarian - which I can't believe is LESS accurate than a Saiga. equal quality IMO. Haven't shot a Saiga yet, though.

I've got a arsenal 107CR with a 16" barrel and it shoots about the same as a saiga. It just looks prettier. You can't beat the SGL21 for the money.

My SGL21 is excellent in every aspect. When I received it, there were 3 holes on the test target.... 2 side-by-side in the bull and one flyer. My first reaction didn't consider the flyer as the first shot and the second two as the "adjusted sight" shots. When I took it to the range, the rifle fired spot-on and I didn't have to make any adjustments. They ARE accurate.

Good luck in your choice.

I just recently got my SGL 20-41. It came with a test target 3 shots next to each other on the bottom of the black bulls eye at 25meters. I have not shot it yet,and will send pics as soon as i can figure out how. I would rather have gotten the cleaning tube in the storage in the butt-stock though instead of the target.

I've got three Arsenal Bulgarians and an Arsenal Legion (Saiga). I haven't seen any noticable difference between the current production Arsenal Bulgarians and Arsenal converted Saigas in reliability or accuracy. It really comes down to whether the folding stock and firing pin return spring (more drop safe, prevents slam fires) is worth the extra $250 to upgrade from an SGL an SLR.
