Sounds Like I got lucky
I just got a 442 no lock, I called around today to find out what a new one sells for and everyone I called said the no lock 442's are very hard to find and the run new for $525.00 I got mine foe $325.00 It was made in Oct 2008 guess I got lucky.

Got mine NIB for $430....didnt even see the molon labe script on the side till I got it home.

The 442 no lock is still available. My distributor is out right now but expects some soon. $525 is way marked up.
You got an outstanding deal on your's almost $100 below dealer cost.
I got myself a Birthday Present S&W 642 Centennial Airweight 2.5" barrel.
Shoots Great!!!!
Normally I don't post dealer price because the dealer is supposed to make a small profit on the gun. He is in business to make not loose money. My 642 was on special for $395.00 regular wholesale is $411.95
I like the shrouded (full size) ejector rod and pinned black (interchangable) front sight.
