rem 870

I bought a rem 870 pump used a while back and just found out that the date on it is from 1967. Wow it looks like something from the 1990's it's in perfect shape. My question is being that old, is there anything I should do to it to keep it in tip top shape?

Was thinking maybe just buy a new one too so I don't use this one as much.

they are not collectors items and are made for shooting. Shoot it, keep it clean and tune it up when it needs it and it will last another 40 years and longer.
