Ed Brown Kobra Carry
Everybody knows the Kobra Carry is a cutesy gun with a name that's reminiscent of a high school cheerleader telling you her name is "Cindi with an "i".
It's clearly a girl's gun as well - the Ed Brown website even states, " It's easier on the hands than checkering, and our female customers in particular can't stop bragging about it...We are sure you'll be charmed by the Kobra Carry". That sounds like an appeal to chicks for sure.
Anyway here's mine. I got it today. And no, it didn't give me a sudden desire to wear panties.

Many thanks to George at Gunslingers.

is the reason it didnt give you desires to wear panties, is because in fact, you already were wearing panties?

That's great! If you're going to NOAA at MacDill AFB that's even better. I did the certification test flights on their Hurricane Hunter G-IV, trained their crews and flew first missions with them. They are good bunch of guys and a pleasure to work with.

Congrats on a great looking gun. Doesn't Ed spec thong panties for this gun?

I thought the panty was for cleaning the gun. Am I missing something here?

Have you shot it yet?
Did it come with instructions and a warning that the rear sight is loose? (mine did not have the instruction and should have. The joker at the store took out the instruction.)
My EB came loose because EB has the opinion that you want to adjust the rear sight to your taste and then tighten it up.
Check this out. You don't want to be at the range and have the rear sight fly off.

Finally an Ed Brown. It has been a long time talking about Baer, Wilson, Nighthawk and so on. Brown is in a class by itself IMO and deserves much more credit that it receives. Fine shooter and congrats. My 1911 money will go to Ed Brown over any other maker.

Browns normally run 8-12 weeks.
