Does this have anything to do with the recent shooting of the 4 cops? Or was this in the works for sometime?

Received also email from NRA yesterday about this. Wrote emails to my state reps, state senator and the gov. At least one of them got back to me.

There's a running thread about this in the ar15.com washington forum. People are bombarding their state reps, and posting the responses they're getting. Seems like the odds are in our favor on this one.
