Smith & Wesson LE discount?
Does anyone know if Smith & Wesson has started their LE discount program back up?

Haven't heard of it... only Beretta and Sig officer rebates and Glock blue label pricing.

After further research, it looks like they do not, at this time. Thanks for the replies.

An acquaintance that checked into it via email just after the first of the year was told that the program used in 2009 is over, and a new one had not been defined/started yet. Was also told that something would probably be forthcoming, but not what/when.

I emailed this question to Smith & Wesson, and this is the answer I received:
"Hi, we do I suggest calling our L.E rep Dave Upton at 1-800-331-0852 ext 3364. "
So, when I get a spare moment, I will give ol' Dave a call.
If they are talking about 40% off list, that would put a Model 811000 right at $840, I believe. I could go for that. Especially if I could special-order it with a 1:7 twist.

I wasn't aware they ever stopped offering LE pricing. Discounts at gunshops is an entirely different animal.

Anyone ever get a verdict on this? I'm considering an M&P but will just get another GLOCK for $400 if S&W can't step up to the plate.

Yes we offer S&W firearms at the LEO discount, also referred to as the First Responder Discount.

Just a quick note to revisit this topic.
The M&P prices through us are now at the $398.20 for most fixed sight models. Most models are priced at or below Glock LE prices.

It's a tough price to beat.

Very true
Glock 17/19/22 Fixed Sights $398.20
M&P9/40/357 fixed sights is $398.20
Glock 17/19/22 Trijicon Sights $470.20
M&P9/40/357 Trijicon Sights is $455.20
These prices are based of what we used to sell LE Glocks at. The things we are glad is that people have a choice between a Glock and a M&P and money is no longer the issue, just a preference.
