Full Custom Punisher Edition 19

This is my first Glock. I picked it up at a friend's gun shop. The guy who owned it before me was a Glock Armorer and did all of the upgrades. I love this gun. I have had some Glock "purists" (arrogant know-it-all's) lecture me about Glock perfection and how you should not modify anything on it. I think all the modifications were done in good taste and with considerable care to maintain the quality/reliability. I will try to get some pictures up, but this is my first post. Any and all thoughts are welcome. Here is a list of the modifications that have been made:
-Tripp Research Cobra-Hard Chrome Refinish on Slide, trigger and locking block pins
-Glock 17 trigger and trigger bar
-Glock factory 3.5 lb. trigger connector
-Glockmeister competition trigger return spring
-Glock plug in backstrap
-Glock factory extended slide stop/release from G34/35 and G17L/24
-Full detail polish job. Includes: Striker head and engagement surface, full trigger bar, connector, striker safety plunger, locking block, and barrel feed ramp (75.00)
-Custom front strap grip reduction for 2.5 generation G19 feel
-TruGlo TFO tritium/fiber optic sights; Green on Green
-Custom Punisher skull slide back plate
-Arredondo G19 +5 basepad on factory G19 magazine
-Glockmeister extended slide lock.

Does anyone have something similar? Post some comments/pictures.

Welcome to Glocktalk!

I think you'll get more responses if you post this in "General Glocking" rather then "Glock Collectors Club".

Although its not my particular style it is nice (I'm just not a fan of the punished rear slide cover).

Try being more tolerant to others, considering this is your first post.

Thanks for the comments guys. I have to say, the Punisher backplate is not my favorite aspect of the gun (I'm ordering a stock one). blueiron, I see how that came across, I'll keep that in mind in the future. The person I was refering to was an employee at a competing gun shop who had an ax to grind. After lecturing me about having a chrome finish on the slide, he went on to tell me he wanted a teflon coating and lighter trigger put on his. It was the hipocracy of the whole thing really.

The punisher is awesome. I'm digging the slide cover.

Nice combo of upgrades. Now you need to practice, practice, and get more practice.

Most Glockers do some upgrades. We all like Perfection, and define it in our own way.

Welcome on board, I am fairly new to this forum also. Joined just a few months ago, there two great things here:

1) Good Info

2) Even Better people, who will help you if you need it.

It might look neat to take a black crayon and colorfill the markings on the slide with it.

No offense, but adding a $20 back plate cover does not make it an "edition"

Stick with a 'lightly customized Glock'.

Otherwise my Glocks are all 'Full Custom Stock Back Cover Edition' guns...

What kind of lecturing on "having a chrome finish on the slide"..a good one? no good at all? recommended? not recommended?...and why?

i think i lean a little more in the direction of keeping and maintaining the factory parts on my Glock but that's how I am with most other things as well i.e. musical instruments, cars, etc.

that's just for my own stuff, but i do enjoying seeing some of the things that other people do to their guns. nice 19.

the only thing that i have been considering for my G22 is a 3.5lb trigger. anyone know of a good online instruction manual for installation should I decide to install it?
