My next Glock should be...
What to get now? I love my G20, but not sure if I want a G29. Any suggestions?

Kimber or Dan Wesson before they are gone.

I like the idea of the Kimber Eclipse II, in 10mm. Will it stand up to full-house loadings, or have problems like a Delta Elite?

I'd go with a Dan Wesson CBOB. Best bang for your buck but hurry up because they are no longer making the 10mm.

Does anyone have a DW and a Kimber? I have never owned a 1911 (always wanted one, though) What are the pro's and cons of each?

Don't get a 1911, it is a disease, you will just want more of them and they are money pits, you can spend way too much money on them. I had a delta elite about 20 years ago and I am just now getting the 1911 bug out of my system.

Have both.
DW bobtail is easy to carry.
Kimber full size is a wonderfull target gun.
Both great.

Now all I gotta do is scrape up the jack to get one... Think I'll finish minor upgrades to the G20 and spend about half of that sticker-shocker on ammo! Thanx, everyone!

Might want to hold your cash for a couple months and see if the new Bren Ten hits the market sometime soon...
Another option that I find very appealing is getting the long-slide conversion top-end for the G-20, so you'll have a 6" bbl and slide.

I had thought of the 6" non ported barrel, but with regular slide, to aid in drawing, what do you think?

Well, going with the barrel only (and the issue slide, rather than the long slide) is the cheaper option, but I doubt it will help drawing any, because the barrel is still poking way out there in front...
I like the long slide for two reasons: Aesthetically it looks much better than a bare barrel sticking out the front and second, it adds weight to the slide, thereby assisting with keeping the slide and barrel group recoiling slower and softer. This makes shooting hotter loads easier on the pistol and shooter, and probably enhances speed of follow-up shots (time between shots in rapid fire) considerably...
