What model AR is this?

It has the long flash hider of an GAU-5/XM177 type rifle, but it has an M16A2 style receiver (I think? Forward assist and brass deflector...) yet it has a, from the looks of it, a 10.5 inch barrel and that big flash hider so it isn't any of the A2 derived carbines I've heard of... Given the context I'd presume it must be a factory rifle and not a custom job. Any ideas?

It's an XM177

No, it's an A1 upper for sure. I don't see a brass deflector.

That looks like a Model 609 Commando and that's not a flash hider, instead it's a moderator which did have a slight effect on reduction of muzzle blast.

Looks like the production version of the XM177 prototype which was called the Commando for certain groups in SOG.
