I am looking for a forum or dealer with used AR's. Gunbroker seems to be mostly new - and the used ones get bid up to almost new prices.

(as an aside, the ammo and accessories like mags are comically overpriced)

Is there a location where folks don't think their used AR's are worth their weight in gold?

No kidding...I second the OP, often the used ones cost more then the new ones! And not because they've been improved or have additional add ons.

I was at a local gun shop the other day, looking at used guns. Most if not all were priced higher then retail, all guns...not just AR's, revolvers etc.

I sold over 30 guns on GB last year...ya, it hurt, had to, to purchase groceries, but if you want to sell them, you have to price at what the market will pay.

I'll try some State forum's but, last time I checked. I didn't see any deals.

The way I see it, You can get a new Stag (in perfect condition with a warranty) for the price of someones used AR (in probably not to perfect condition to problematic condition) gun. IMO,Stags are one of the best bangs for the bucks spent.( http://ar15sa.fatcow.com/store/page2.html).


That said, I would probably spend a little more and get a piston AR.
