Ruger doesn't make the PC9 anymore but I have a Mini-14 and a 22/45 and kind of like the brand. Plus I have lots of 9MM ammo.

What's the word on these carbines? Any thoughts on where to hunt one down and what to look for as far as problems?

I have one, would not sell it, great 50-75 yard carbine. Really like it. I would check the on line auction forums like gunbroker.com. I have not seen any at the local gun shows.

I have the PC40. It is a HAMMER with CorBon ammo. It is accurate too - I can hit a paper plate at 100 yards pretty easily. For some reason the .40's seem to be easier to find on the used market than the 9mm version, not sure why. I really like mine.

I love mine. Prefer it to the wife's CX4 Storm. Winchester 147 JHPs shoot into 1 inch at 50 yards... I would like to find a PC40, now.
