My new Custom KAHR MK9, PICS!!!

posted this on Sigforum, though you guys might appreciate it too.

I sent my Kahr Mk9 to my smith Jay at Elite Custom Guns in TN and just got it back. Here is a list of the work done:

1.) Carry melt (including frame, around trigger guard, underneath slide, front of dustcover, ejection port, and any other sharp edges.

2.) Polished slide flats

3.) Melted and polished controls

4.) Smoothed and polished trigger

5.) Polished barrel hood and feedramp

6.) Polished breach face and extractor

6.) Stippled front strap

7.) Beveled mag well

8.) Bead blasted frame and slide top

8.) Installed Meprolight Night Sights

She is smooth as silk now. All I need is a set of Slim 1911 Torx head screws. He cut down a set for the factory plastic grips but are too short for the wod ones. All-in-all I am very happy with how she came out. Here are some pics...

Very nice, thanks for sharing.

I have always liked my firearms to feel like a slightly used bar of soap.

Thats such a nice looking gun that I had to come back twice to look some more. I have a nice PM9, but there is something about all steel. I'm cogitating on the purchase of either an MK9, MK40 or P380, but really like the look of that MK9.
