Meprolight sights?

anyone besides me having problems seeing them during day? I dont know if my eyes are that bad or what but the factory sights show up great.

I think they are way better than the trijis for day time. I have meps on g26 and trijis on g23 ill take meps anyday.

ALL my handguns have Mepros and are IMHO, superior to Trijis.

Two of my Kimbers and my MK9 have Meprolights, I like them. The Night sights on my TRS might as well be black for daytime use.

What exactly are you having a problem seeing? The green glow? The white rings? I ask so that I can be a little more helpful.

I have green/yellow Meprolights on my 19, 26, and 21.

Day-time visibility is great, no annoying glare from range lights (some nights have a metal ring around the vial that refracts light and causes me issues), and night time illumination is terrific.

I will continue to put Meprolights on my guns...

I have Mepro's on all my Glocks except for my G34. Best buy and quality for the money.

If the sights are clean, it's all you, buddy!

Sght preferences are as personal as underwear. So, you'll need to find something that works better for you.

First, address your vision. Get your eyes checked by a professional.

That said, look into some alternative sight designs--perhaps, fiber optic sights. For SD/HD, consider a laser.

I have Meprolights on my G27 that are 10-1/2 years old. Still plenty bright for nighttime usage (though getting close to the time to start thinking about replacements).

Been using MEPS for over 12 years.....never had a problem day or night.

As an alternative take a look at Ameriglo sights. Specifically the Operator and Pro Operator models. Ameriglo uses Trijicon tritium vials.

I've been researching night sights and am stuck between Ameriglo and XS. From what I've been reading, the Ameriglo is great for day use due to the large white border around the vial.

i have Glock Night sights on all my Glocks...but tried the Mepro's on my G32...from what I can notice the GNS (white sights) are slightly better during the day and the Mepro are slightly brighter during the night.....

I'm sold on the AmeriGlo's myself. Nicely machined and finished. They use white PVC tubes surrounding Trijicon tritium tubes - easy to see day or night. Anything is better than the stock Glock polymer sights with that awful white outline rear!

My problem they are not as noticeable (bright white) like the stock sights of course I only shot with them about 4 times now maybe its just the adjustment to different colors if it had a more pronounced outline.

That's funny, I personally think the white line, or anything for that matter, is better than 3 dot sights.
