Beretta Bobcat question

I just got a Beretta Bobcat for plinking and to carry when I don't feel like carrying anything bigger. What is the "best" way to carry it with one in the chamber? I was going to carry half cocked with the safety on, but the manual says not to do this. Is it safer to carry fully cocked with the safety on?

Thanks,
Dan

Is yours the tip up double action .22? If so, I carried with one in the chamber and the hammer down for double action first shot.
