Drop in full-auto conversion
I saw this advertised some places and was wondering if anyone knew about it. I'm sure it requires a class 2 manufacturers license but I am just wondering if anyone has experience or has hear of it before.

I'm sure some folks in the big house will tell you all about it. ScrappyDoo's comment was off the charts, though. Great stuff!

Sniff, sniff . . . hmmm, I smell some odd questioning by a junior poster. Guessing the address will come back to a .gov address.
That being said, IBTL.
Making popcorn, anyone want some?

You don't need a fully automatic drop in kit. By default the Glock should automatically hold the slide open on an empty magazine. That's what we're talking about right?

Lol, I'm not a gov... i really am curious. Not sure what IBTL mean... but ok!
Fully autos are totally legal to own, not sure why what I brought up is taboo.... no harm was intended!
I am honestly wondering if anyone with a class 2 or 3 has had experience with these parts.
PS: Yes i am a junior poster, but I just joined Glock talk like what??? a week ago??? I have posted in other topics and am a member of other gun forums (not sure if i am allowed to post which one, might be considered advertising).

New to the board + low post count + question about full auto parts = reasonable suspicion that you are either .gov or a anti plant.
Questions about full auto parts don't last on GT.

Read the top of the free fire zone page and pay special attention to sticky number 2. After reading it you'll have your answer.

And the people here in GT are generally ignorant of this fact.
Yes, they are, as long as you fill out the proper gov. forms and pay for the parts.
The problem is, NEW manufacturing for normal people ended in 1986.
So prices on full autos have jumped to prices too high for normal people.
So then people became C3 dealers to get around these prices and restrictions.
Now as a C3, you have to have a letter from your local law enforcement saying that you need a dealer sample.
So it is possible to have a new full auto whatever, but it is not easy.
If you are serious about doing this, this is not the forum to learn about the process. Try Subguns.

It is also not cost effective for one $300.00 item which is ballpark what they cost. You'll have to obtain the FFL License ($200.00), SOT license ($2000), business, pass ATF Business Inspection which means alarm, safe, etc, and the list goes on and on. The above poster is correct, subguns is the place to go and I'm pretty regular there so I'm pretty sure about the above info minus more hassles. Now if you can go into a legit Class 3 business more power to you, but it's not gonna be cheap or easy. There are a few transferrable full auto handguns in the registry but they were made prior to 86 and are VERY expensive. The last transferrable Beretta 93R copy (mocked up Taurus) I've seen, was $25,000 which was many years ago.

I figured it would be complicated to manufacture new ones but wasn't sure how this part would fall in under the laws. I've seen a lot of videos where people converted their G19s and even G22s into full auto. It's fun to think about having but I'll never spend 15k on a gun and doubt I'll ever have a class 2 or 3 license.

Those " People " are manufacturers, and do so as their business. For you and me, not possible. There are no transferable glock machine guns, which includes any 'conversion'.

Good thinking,
If you are not in the USA, then our laws don't apply.
