Thanks man; 10K+ rounds last year, some 24 or so local matches, 3 leagues, and two major matches, lots of dry-fire. She definitely has... character.

I understand those who keep their 1911s pristine, my was just bought for a different use.

They are advertised as mimicking skater tape... but they aren't that sharp. I won't call them a bust yet, but I was expecting something, "grippier."

I might get a set of VZ grips, the aggressive ones; "Operator" or "Operator II" in black or black desert sand might look nice...
