I use mine periodically on my Mossberg and it runs fine. It isn't click adjustable unfortunately and the locking screws easily strip out but thier customer service is excellent. They sent me two new screws for free and now I'm more careful when tightening them down.

I just put one on my 870 along with a;
BR-IA-SDM-410330 Burris FastFire Sight Mount - Picatinny Protector.

This really protects the Burris from jarring. Actually it's a very nice clean setup and the red dot is great for fast aiming. I think it's better than a laser because know one but you sees the red dot.

It comes with a nice cover and an on-off switch.

I've seen others on this forum saying they wouldn't trust this sight and I say it works great for personal use. Obviously it's not a combat scope but it's a helluva lot cheaper and like many wannabes here I'm not going into combat any time soon!

There are plenty of shotgun specific optics that will handle the recoil. Also optics used for large bore pistols hold up well (think .44 mag). The key is to actually get an optic designed for a shotgun.
