newer models as numbers increase, not 100% sure, but....glass & internal parts are better, at least the price gets higher, my observation, i have a vx-1, bought on ebay, my buddy has vx-2, i can't tell any difference, havn't looked at vx-3, so, JMO

more than welcome, i'm sure if ya wanted to spend the time on Google, you would probably get more info than I gave, but I'm guessing that I pretty much nailed it...good luck, might want to look at Bushnell 3200 & 4200 models, have both of those as well, check ebay, SOMETIMES you can get better deals there, i can't tell the difference between v-x's or the Bushnell's, seem the same to me, hope this helps

bambikilr ; Since you mentioned it i was looking at a bushnell 3200 firefly 3x9x50 so whats your take on that scope ? Thanks......
