Do Saiga 12's Have The Same Receivers As Saiga Rifles ?

I know the receiver covers are slightly different with the Saiga 12 having a larger cutout to be able to allow for proper ejection of the larger spent shot shell. Other than that, is there anything different or are they basically the same as the rifle receivers ?

The saiga 12 uses a 1.5mm receiver versus a 1mm found in the
.223 or 7.62x39 versions. There are other differences like the trigger guard,
the trigger parts position spacing, and obviously the front trunnion/barrel.
Other than that, a kvar stock fits the s12 and a tapco trigger set works but
the hammer needs to be modified.
