G30 trigger bars and other Qs

Hi,

I just picked up a used G30, made in '07, LDE3xx serial. It has the 4265-1 (no trailing dash) trigger bar, and it sounds like it would be a good idea if I picked up the 4265-1-.

I note Brownells carries Glock triggers. Does anyone know if their current stock is the latest -1- trigger? Secondarily, is the G21 trigger the one with the smooth face?

Is there anything else I should watch for on a G30 from this era? I know they made some changes around locking blocks, etc, in certain models, but not sure about this one specifically.

Thanks in advance,

-- Sam

If it shoots ok,.....I'd leave it be.
It is said that one can only get a 4256-1- triger bar from a Glock certified
armorer or by sending the firearm to glock. The 4256 is a smooth trigger face.
And Yes, the G21 has a smooth trigger face

As an armorer I have had 2 people with issues (FTE)on the 30sf. They called glock and asked if there was an armorer at the store where they bought them so the part could be installed. There was no cost to the customer and I installed the part for free. So I would call them to get the free part.

leave well enough alone if your 30 is shooting well...
me on the other hand just bought a new 30sf and have the 4265 -1- trigger bar in it but i am having the same problems the old bar had
there is burring on the trigger bar and it is causing the weapon to have FTF problems
i just sent it back to glock and i am curious as to what they will do being the fix was to use there new lower trigger bar 4256-1-
for the previous issues

does anyone else here have an issue with the "new" trigger bar in there 30's???

Check the height of your frame's rear rails. Use a nickel as a
referance gauge. Some of the G30 models have been manufactured
with low rear frame rails.

Brownells does not have the 4256-1- trigger bar.
Glockparts(.)com is the only supplier I know of that is selling them.
