Remington 700 Shell Extraction?

I own a Remington 700 sps .223 and with the majority of the rounds I shoot the shell doesn't kick out when I pull the bolt back. This happens with my Remington brass and I've shot wolf and brown bear which have a larger rim and kick out every time. I'm sure it's the gun but is it something I could fix myself? I also am begging to reload so if there's any other brass I could buy that has a bigger rim I could switch to that but I haven't seen any yet. Any help's appreciated, thanks.

If you extend the amount that the ejector plunger sticks out you should be ok.

Is this something I can do myself?
