FS: Marlin Camp Carbine 45 ACP, San Antonio, Texas

For sale is a 45 ACP Marlin Camp Carbine. This carbine has never been shot and comes in the original box with the manual and 2 factory magazines. The magazines are imprinted with “Marlin Cal. 45 Auto”. This is a great 45 ACP carbine that uses 1911 magazines. This carbine is no longer made but by doing a search on Google you will find a lot of good information about them. When they first came out they had a reputation for the stock cracking due to an underpowered recoil spring (11#) and a poor recoil buffer. The answer to this problem was a stronger recoil spring with a better recoil buffer. This rifle was never shot with the weaker spring and buffer so there is no potential damage to the stock. I have installed a new 21# Wolff recoil spring and a new Blackjack buffer so the rifle is ready to shoot as it is. Included in the sale is an additional 21# Wolff recoil spring, 2 additional Blackjack buffers and 2 factory orange replacement front sights. There are a couple of small marks on the rifle from handling or movement in the box but other than that the rifle looks like new. If you have been looking for a Marlin Camp Carbine in 45 ACP you probably won’t find one in better shape. You also don’t have to worry about upgrading the recoil spring and buffer. The original spring and buffer will be included so that the original package will be complete. I am asking $850.00 for everything. I might consider trading for something but I really don't have any specific trades in mind so just let me know what you have. For now I am only looking for a FTF transaction in the San Antonio, Texas area. If I can’t find anybody local I might consider shipping at a later date.

Here is a recent auction on Gunbroker for a similar carbine without the extras I'm including. This rifle also had been shot.

Thanks for looking.

Excellent rifle....Really works well with a 1911 as a 2 gun set...same mags.

Good luck with your sale.

I would ship it but I would have to charge $40.00 shipping. If you are interested let me know. Thanks.
