Para Ord Trouble
I have had this P12.45 LDA (double stack)for about 10 years. It has stopped locking to the rear after the firing last round. I have replaced all springs with wolfe springs with no effect. It must be the mag follower and/or slide stop pin. Any suggestions on were and what I should replace the stock ones with?

This is generally a worn magazine spring and/or worn follower issue. If you haven't replaced them yet, try that first.

Buy factory new magazines.

Any other magazine manufactures other than Para you guys would recommend? Price isn't the deciding factor Quality is.

Did you replace the follower also?

Either the follower or the slide stop is worn and needs replaced.

That's kind of like changing the oil in your care without changing the filter.
The follower in your mag will wear also, and if it is worn enough on the tab that pushes the slide lever up you will see exactly the problem you describe. It's almost always the spring being too weak to push the lever up all the way (which I know you already replaced), or the follower being too worn and not having enough material to push the lever up into engagement.

I generally suggest Brownells, but they're sold out of followers right now. Dawson Precision and Midway USA both stock them, but you'll have to check if they have any in stock. Both have good websites.
For new mags, CDNN Investments almost always has the best deals on factory Para Ord mags. If they don't have any, Midway usually does and Para now sells direct (though at full retail they are usually the most expensive source).
