All I can say is Woo Whoo!

The second outing went much better than the first. The Smith preformed as I expected it to this time. Accuracy at 10 yards was acceptable with all the ammo I put thru it today. I was mainly concerned with fuction so I started out with Rem green box 180 gr fmj, PMC 170 gr jhp and Corbon 135 gr jhp. The double action trigger pull was very smooth, felt much better than before altho I'm sure it was in the process of ****in up when I shot it before. I didn't shot anything hot today so recoil was not bad but the muzzle flash was still fantastic. (I only get an hour for lunch)

It took Smith a full 7 days longer than expected to get the gun back to me. There was no type of explanation of the problem, cause, work preformed or apology included with the gun nothing. The gun looks and preforms as new so overall I'm satisfied.

Did I mention the huge muzzle flash.........

can't wait to put some DT thru it. I'll post new pictures later.

I don't recall ever getting a note splaining what they did to my 1066 when I sent it in. All I know is, it works like a champ since I got it back

My 310 works now and I'm happy with it so I'm not complaining just more curious than anything. As many Smiths as I've owned this is my first problem. They did send some strange papers back in the box with the gun (not the brown paper which it was wrapped in) looked almost like targets but the centers of them had been cut out.

One thing I didn't mention my 310 doesn't like PMC ammo, the spent cases are a bit stubborn about coming out of the cylinder. I think I'll have the cyl. holes beveled (just to make reloads faster) and change out the rear sight with a Bowen Rough Country V-notch sight. The C&S sight that comes on the 310 (and 325) are hard for my old eyes to see, the Bowen sight has a white line that to me is an improvement. Anybody use this sight or know anything about it?
