Rain & Snow Totals
So, how much rain or snow did you all get at your homes?
I'm in Surprise and I got about 4 & 3/10 inches over the past 24 hours.
So far my total rain amount is about 5 and a half inches.
B.

Dobson and US60, about 3 inches this week. I can't say year-to-date as I usually forget to check!

I'm in San Tan Valley and don't have a rain gauge but we received very little in comparison to everyone else in the Phx Valley. For most of yesterday there was a large gap in rainfall coverage on the radar from SE of Chandler down to Florence.
However, as I was heading down Hunt Hwy this morning at 6 am I had to turn around and head west to I-10 be cause Hunt was flooded just north of AZ Farm Road.
I just got back home and the new storm "is a coming" over the hills right now. Batten down the hatches.

On Thursday, Sky Harbor recorded the lowest barometric pressure EVER in the history of record keeping in the Phx area.

We got about 4" of snow at my house in Prescott Valley, but a few miles away in Prescott, my son's girlfriend had about 8" at her house...

I have close to 5 FEET of snow at my place. Officially, we got 53+ inches at the airport.
I'm sick of shoveling!

I'm suspecting that there's a mis-placed decimal point there. Or else DM measures things metric.
http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/twc/climate/monthly/jan10.php
They list 2.10" for the entire month of January, and nowhere in southern AZ with more than 5.24".
