Thanks for the 1911 advice !

I have been reading here before like 6 months before buying my 1911, and i have to admit i was close to buying the Taurus PT1911 because of how much stuff it came with.... but after reading the TERRIBLE reviews from here, I realized i'd be better off with something else. Forthe price f one taurus, i could buy 2 RIAs. The RIA i bought feels alot better than the Taurus 1911s that
I compared it to.

The RIA is better, in my opinion.

I don't pay attention to them, but has the Taurus gone up THAT much in price?

I bought a RIA Tactical as a "truck gun," then found it so reliable and accurate that I couldn't bear to leave it out of the stable, so it now lives with the Ed Brown and the Kimber pre-II CDP Pro...
