Buying a G38 for $499. Good Value?

I'm just about to purchase my first handgun. I have decided on a Glock 38. The local Glock LEO dealer has the gun in stock and wants $499 (w/ tax) out of the door. Good value?

That's a pretty good out-the-door price. My G39 with GSSF discount was $414.70, but with tax and background check was around $455.00. Go for it!

Here is a new one for $389 (if you dont mind an OD frame). Add $20 for shipping and around $30 for a transfer fee and you are at $439 out the door. You can use the extra money on ammo.
