Hi,
I was wondering if on a S&W M&P 9mm c a manual saftey could be installed? I have seen these with them from the factory so I thought maybe they could be installed after the fact like a Cominelli does for Glock.
I saw threads concerning this on other sites. Answer was S&W said it cannot be done. Other posters said no. I Picked up my new 40c with the thumb safety two days ago, from looking at my pistol the frame is cut away for the safety to come through below the slide. I think it can be done if you are willing to cut the clearance slots in your frame. Probably better to sell it and buy what you want, but your choice.
