I really want to use a LED Surefire forend for my Remington 870, what laser will work best with that...or even just a standard tactical forend...like found on factory Remington 870 tacticals straight out of the factory?

Tough Question is the laser going to be used as your primary or secondary sighting system? What are the accuracy requirements for the laser? Range?
Holding Zero? What type of Mounts are you willing to look at or are not even interested in? Barrel mounts? Mag mounts? etc. What are you willing to spend to get your results?

I ended up purchasing a Streamlight TLR2s (s=strobe function)...laser is built in to the bottom of the light housing. I chose the Mesa Picatinny system that acts as a magazine tube/barrel clamp and holds the TLR2 on the side of the barrel/mag tube, also went with the remote pressure switch.

Havn't had a chance to use it yet, as my 870 is still out getting its Black T finish put on it.
