That looks like a good way for cat lovers to keep their cats off of the couch. If I can find one of those cap guns, I'll get my first cat.

I had one of those when I was 5 or 6 years old!
Came with the holster and sheets of the green stick on caps.
Cool!

I had one of those for Christmas in the late 50's. Mine was a Frontiersman Outfit that had a single pistol and holster plus a lever action rifle.
A few years back I saw a single pistol and holster with cases and snap in bullets for $600. A pistol without holster goes for $250 or so. The plastic snap in bullets are harder to find. Mine is long gone and I don't remember where.
I've been reloading much longer than I thought. Forgot about handloading the Mattel pistol.

Not only did I have that exact same rig I also had the 2 inch Detective Special with the plastic shoulder holster. It too shot the safety shootin' shells over a Greenie Stick 'em Cap.
Actually brings back ver, very fond memories.
Those things are probably worth more than a new Kimber today.
OH! I had the rifle that looked like a Winchester too but I think that took rolled caps. Of course I only got to play with those after I killed a rabbit for dinner with my flintlock. Chores always came first.

Good post. I remember walking to the drug store down the street just to buy caps back when Roy Rogers was King. Screw a boy up watching that and Sky King in the 50's on a black & white Tv living in Tucson.
