HERA Glock kit

I have been drooling over these types of kits for a while and have always wondered...

If I get this kit and go through all the motions and paper work to register it as an sbr... Can I switch between sbr and pistol whenever I want.... Or do I have to dedicate a pistol to become an sbr forever?

ThNks

I didn't know this off the top of my head since it's kind of unusual. This is not legal advice, but here's what I found.

Once you SBR the firearm, it's in the registry. However, just because it's registered as an SBR doesn't mean you can't have it in "pistol configuration". But it's still a registered SBR unless you de-register it and never have it in SBR configuration again.
