Slide lube for Glock
I've seen questions posted on other forums about what Glock puts on there slides at the factory for lubricant. I know it's a grease of some sort with fine particles of copper in it.
I was at a local machine shop today and the guy I was talking to had a can of this stuff called "Kopr-Kote" which is an anti-seize lubricant. Looks like the same stuff Glock uses.

It is.
A copper based anti-seize (most likely Loctite C5a) is what is used on Glock slides.
No need for it after your first cleaning since it is messy stuff, gets everywhere, leaves annoying and unsightly stains everywhere and offers no appreciable advantage over a high quailty oil (as per the Owner's Manual).
Don't overlubricate. Six drops of BreakFree CLP or LP will "get you where you're going".

Factory Glock slide lube is copper antisieze-- avail at any auto parts store, like autozone, or NAPA.
More of a gel or paste than a liquid.
Different brand names make them.
They also come in aluminum based- silver colored.
Very high temp lube and prevents metal to metal galling.
Its just a lube with mystique because its copper colored.. It does stay in place and even coats the pores of the slide. You can always tell if its there visually, whereas the liquid lubes are hard to see. Not good for long term use, since it can build up and attract contaminants and foulings.

I've been using MilCon TW25b on the slide rails, Militech 1 everywhere else.
Works for me,...................

CLP or RemOil work just fine. The copper lube is just for the break in period. I don't belive it's recommended to continue using it.

You're right about TW25B. I've also used it on my Mossberg 835 & 935 turkey shotguns. TW25B stays put longer and provides better lubrication properties.

New G27 came with it applied to the side of the firing pin stop hump of the trigger bar assy.

Glock uses Fel-pro C5-A. You dont need anti-seize on your Glock.

Here's a good all around gun care product. Cleans and lubes dry to touch. Plus it's a rust
preventative. I don't have stock in this product, I just like it.

Lube? I've not lubed my G22 in over 10 years. Works fine, no wear. I shoot 200+ rounds per week, sometimes more.
