You can always cite the 30 day rule to the police - they love that. I did it once out of frustration and it turned into a major battle with a positive outcome in the end.

I called today and was told they would call me back. It took about 20 min and I got a call. All my stuff came back from the State Police and the firearms officer told a friend of mine who is a cop that he would do all the paper work Tuesday. I guess I will see on Tuesday. I asked for 3 permits, and I know in New Jersey you can only buy 1 hand gun a month. I don't know how thats going to work, if I get all 3 at once?
permit took 8 weeks to the day. hopefully my additional permits won't take that long.
