M1 Carbine stock for a 10-22

A gentleman on gunboards was selling these very reasonably so I ordered one. They can be had with a dark color or blond like I chose. There are a few outfits selling these but Destroyer on RimfireCentral Forums had the best price. The stock was inletted perfectly and my 10-22 fit like a glove. There is a cutout in the handguard making the factory rear sight usable. Destroyer and friends is working on an adapter that uses a real M1 carbine rear site that will screw onto the mount holes on top of the receiver. Check out Rimfire Central to see some photos. I tried posting them here but they are to big. This stock really dresses up the 10-22.

I seen it done before, and it was one of the reason why I bought a 10/22 so I could do a similar project. The 10/22 I bought was a lemon out of the box and a jamomatic POS so I traded it and scrapped the idea.

Here goes one but I seen it done even better than this example.
