I've owned a Remington 541S Custom Sporter with a 3-9X Leupold scope since Christmas 1980. This is a tack-driving machine that I've never been able to let go. I sold my Weatherby .22 several years ago, but I couldn't part with this one. It just seems we don't have the line up of upper tier hunting .22's that we once did.

I'm just curious how many of you own this awesome rifle, and how many years you've had it? Mine (honestly) looks like it did the day it it was purchased, and I still have the box in the attic!

I had a 541T HB with a Burris 6 to 18 power scope, used it to shoot the smallest group I ever shot, like a fool, I let it go. I still miss that one.
