.22 bulk price went up again
Went to Wally world to see if they got any bulk .22 in stock. Had a few available, What I really noticed was the remington and federal bulk(550) went from $16.47 to $18.47. I thought ammo prices were stable for awhile. Wonder why they are going up with demand dropping back and material prices coming down.
Thanks

That stinks!
Federal 550 and Winchester 333 have stayed consistent at Wally Worlds around here. I won't shoot rem GBs anymore.

Still $15.47 here... you may be in a test-market for higher prices.
Don't buy any! That way, the price will not go up for the rest of us!

Old stock is still being sold at the cheaper price, I believe once they receive some new stock the price will change. The Federal bulk is reported to have changed to $18.97.

It went up in my neck of the woods also. Same price. At least it is the Federal bulk 550 packs. I have shot 8 boxes of the federal with zero bad rounds. Alot of people have complained, but I have only had lots of trouble with winchester and remington.

I only bought two boxes at the new price. (this is an attempt to prevent the backlash from other forum posters who would claim I am driving up the price)

I buy one bulk box of Fedreral 550 every time we go there to get our groceries.
That's 4 boxes a month.
I haven't worried about the price or availability of bulk 22 ammo for some time now.
I just don't understand why some folks don't plan ahead.

I just bought a brick of Remington .22LR ammo at Dick's for $19.99.
Yeah -- I could get .22 ammo at Wal-Mart for $15 and change -- but I'd just as likely spend 5 bucks in gas money driving to Wally World to keep finding that they're out of .22 ammo...

That's what I've read, and I was at Wal-Mart only two days ago. Looks like I'll have to run up there tonight and buy some Federal 550 bulk if it's still at that price.

While the Wally World didn't have any rimfire bulk ammo here, they did have the increased prices for them in their normal places. $18.97 for Federal & Winchester. Last week they were $15.47...

I didn't make it to Wal-Mart two nights ago but stopped by late yesterday afternoon.
The 550-round Federal went up $2, so I passed on buying any.
If we could start a word-of-mouth boycott for one month ammo prices would come down across the board.

Luckily I purchased a few thousand rounds of .22 about 6 years ago, and I haven't shot any of it yet.

LOL . . . Get out there and shoot those suckers.
I need to look into bulk packages. Wonder where I can find some Rem Golden Bullets in the San Francisco Bay Area? I only shoot CCI Mini Mags and Fiocchi high velocity 40 gr. plated rounds.

Have you got a Dick's Sporting Good in your area?
They had quite a few Remington Golds at my local store.

Unfortunately, no . . . When I am in the neighborhood, I will stop in at a Walmart and see what they have, if anything.
