Sometimes after I rack the slide and try to engage the decocker it will hang up or stick.Even with a good amount of force it will not budge. After trying several times it will finally go.This doen't happen very often. It works fine 99% of the time.It feels like the detent plate jambs against the pin that it rides on.I have cleaned and lubed it, but it still happens sometimes.
I have 282 rounds through it so far.
Any ideas ?

I don't understand why you seem to have deleted the post.

Did you resolve the issue?

Thought I might be overreacting again like I did about the plastic peeling off the locking block.

I understand.

The decocker should be a little stiff to operate, that is to say there should be a little resistance when decocking the hammer. If however, the decocker does not operate fairly free with the hammer already lowered then there may be something up.

Check out the detent plate and sear axle to make sure everything is clean and in the proper place.

Heckler & Koch Forum

In this photo, the detent plate is the plate marked "1+2" and the sear axle is the large post in the center of it. The sear axle should be flush with the detent plate.

Well, push it back in and check function.

Okay,I got it pushed back in so that it sits flush with the detent plate. At first it would not go into safe mode. After working it several times,it seems okay now.I'm gonna sit here and work it into both safe and decock mode for awhile and see what happens.
