Newbie question

I'm the new owner of my first Glock, a model 37. I really am enjoying the pistol and the frame fits my hand nicely. My question is this; what would it take to shoot another caliber using the frame... if I wanted to shoot 9mm. Would I need to get a new slide, barrel, mag etc? For that matter, is it even possible? I tried doing a search on this but came up emptyhanded so any input would be informative.

No one makes a conversion barrel for .45GAP, so you would need:

1. A complete upper
2. trigger housing w/ejector
2. magazines

A used Glock might be cheaper and more convenient.
