Finally purchased a real Aimpoint!

I found a good deal on a used Comp ML2 locally. It came with the Larue QD mount, cover, and Killflash. I put the Tasco on the 10/22. Tell ya what though, shooting a 22 rifle with a red dot is one heckuva good time! Cheap too.

Interesting. Your LaRue QD is different than mine. I didn't know they made one like yours.

Yours looks like the cantilever mount. The LT-150 is the straight mount. I have one on my Comp C3...

Gotcha. I didn't put much thought into it as it was a package deal. Is there any advantage one way or another?

That would be the LT-129.

The LT150 is the standard mount.

The LT129 moves the scope forward a bit, if you're running a PVS-14 or magnifier behind it with backup irons, the 129 is required or it all won't fit on the receiver.

It also has a side-access (not on the bottom) battery compartment. They're the same height (lower 1/3 cowitness, 1.7").

Ha! Yep, it's time for a new cell phone... I have to wait a few months to have bargaining leverage with T-Mobile.

Nothing like a real Aimpoint. I have two ML3s now and love them.
