That's why I shortened the slide release.
Very rarely do I hit the slide release by accident anymore. Just got word that the P2000 slim slide release is on its way from HK, should take care of the issue completely.

Here are the P2000 slide release levers. Much slimmer than the stock part. Didn't have one failure to lock the slide through a 1000 rd. class this weekend.

The huge slide lock lever is the #1 thing I don't like about the P30. Seriously, did they really need to do it that way?? Huge strike against the otherwise great ergos, IMO.

Info. as stated above just get a P2000 slide release, easy to order. I read that it's shorter of course but flatter make's big difference to all who switched...

P30 or the Walther PPQ. Both so darn tempting. Not sure which is "better" but either would be a nice Christmas gift to myself.

Not a problem with me, as I don't shoot with my thumb sticking up like that. I find that a very awkward way to shoot.

The shorter lever won't solve my complaint. My support thumb touches the lever at the front (the pivot point). Not a huge problem, I just find it distracting.

I sold my OD G19 and used the funds towards a P30,my god is this thing comfortable,I swear it is the most natural feeling weapon I have ever held.....

Congrat's i agree, i like mine alot. Sold a G19 RTF2 to fund mine...
