Matches in or around Blue ridge, GA. or Avon, NC??

I'm taking my family on vacation soon. We will be in Blue Ridge, Ga. April 28th until May 2nd and then Avon, NC. from April 28th until May 9th.

The 2nd of May will be a driving day, so it's basically shot. I shoot USPSA and IDPA both, but would try most anything, provided it was organized and safe. I thought it would be fun to check out a match somewhere else and meet some new shooters.

Before anyone asks, I am checking out the gun laws etc.. but I am a LEO so I can carry a gun nationwide per H.R.218

Any info would be appreciated, to include match fees etc...

You can go to www.uspsa.org & enter zip codes from places you'll be staying in the "club finder" box & it will bring up clubs nearby. Most of those clubs have schedules posted on their websites so you can see what is available.

You can do the same thing at IDPA.com as well.

Other than those suggestions... maybe someone who lives close to there can respond.
