sbr form
I live in Alabama & want to build a sbr. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find the form i need so i can legally own one ? Thanks.

Unless something has changed real recently you will have to move. SBR and SBS are illegal in Alabama.
You can own a machine gun though.  It can have a Short Barrel.

I think i can own a sbr with the tax stamp . Same as a silencer. Anyone know if i'm wrong ?

Was the other thread you created a week or so ago where we said you couldn't have an SBR in AL yet not enough?

The other thread was asking if the sbr law had passed. I thought you could own a sbr with the right tax stamp. Glad to know your policing the forum bud.

I'm not policing but you asked essentially the same question twice but you didn't realize we'd answered it already...
IF the law passes it will allow you to own an SBR with the stamp, until then you cannot own one at all.

I'm about to send in a "Form 1" for my first SBR, if it is legal in your state the atf.gov site should have all the necessary info.

I did trust because I had someone who had done it and helped me out.

Save yourself headaches and do an NFA trust. So much easier than having your local Sheriff sign off.
