Hi, i have a G34 and i just got a advantage arms slide. So i pulled off the glock slide and put the AA slide on and i pulled the slide back to test for function and the gun will not fire. I tried to remove the AA slide by pushing the barrel back and working the release but it will not come off. Any ideas?

If you AA kit is new, call AA with regard to the kit not dry firing.

For your more immediate issue . . . When you pull the slide back a bit, do the slide release tabs pull all the way down? If they do, the AA slide should slide forward and off of the frame. If the slide release tabs do not pull down all the way, try pointing the muzzle end up and then bring it back to level and try the slide release tabs again.

Hi, the tabs go 3/4 the way down, but the slide will only go a 1/4" and then it stops. I have taken off the glock slide a hundred times but I can't say if the tabs are 3/4 or fully down. When I push the slide back the tabs click and move up and lock.

Pull the slide back an RCH further as the slide release lever should go all the way to the bottom.
