smooth trigger?

Years ago, I have had a G36 scrape up my trigger finger from the serrations. (I have just purchased an OD G36) I have read that I'm not alone in complaining about this trigger. Do you folks sandpaper your trigger to smooth it down? Is there any contour you try for, or just get rid of the sharp ridges on the trigger surface? Would appreciate your help.

Not only the serrations, but the trigger safety blade sometimes sticks out too far as well, at least on mine. I used some fine grit automotive sandpaper to reduce and contour the trigger safety, and to knock down the serrations a bit.
