Congrats Once again Butch!
Howdy All,
1. Butch and the Gunny Match just seem to go so well together!!! Kudos!
2. The Lady and I and others are privileged to shoot with him from time to time at ranges near his place. A superb instructor for new shooters. Always ready to share insights and techniques with all.

Well done little brother
Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your upcoming visit to the desert. I am sure we will find some time to hang out at the range and burn some powder.

Does that mean I would have to practice more than just qualifying once a year?

You're in NW Indiana then? The matches closest to you next season would be at Brighton, Michigan (near Detroit), Merietta and Dayton, Ohio, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I've heard a rumor that the Indianapolis match is in doubt for next year.
The 2013 match schedule isn't likely to be seen till sometime after the first of the year.
Website: gssfonline.com be sure to check the new shooter briefing too-> http://www.gssfonline.com/regforms/new_comp_brief.pdf

Thank you for the information and congratulations. I live near St. Louis so I may have to drive away to compete.

You won't have to drive too far!
One of the oldest GSSF matches is held at Hallsville, Mo...just north of Columbia, and a new match was held just very recently at Sparta, Illinois....just southeast of St. Louis....too bad you didn't get in here a little sooner, you coulda started there!

I just started looking into the GSSF. The Sparta weekend was a boyscout camp out for my two sons. I going to try to attend one or two GSSF event next year.
I'm a big Glock fan and I love to shoot. I met Gunny briefly at the NRA show in St. Louis. That was a fun day. Thanks again.
